WHAT YOU SEE ISN'T ALWAYS WHAT YOU GET

Bananas, apples, grapes... The same picture is always the same number. Use the clue rows to work out what goes in the final "?".

But look closer. Is there one banana fewer in the last row? Has that apple been cut in half?

HOW TO PLAY

- Count every copy that is drawn
- A cut fruit is half

4 CHAPTERS
- Fruit: classic picture equations
- Scales: no numbers at all. Follow balanced scales to find how many bananas one grape is worth, and cancel what sits on both pans. Answer by placing fruit on the pan
- Missing Signs: put + − × ÷ in the boxes so the row reaches the number. Going left to right gives a different answer!
- Grid Sums: a grid of fruit with the sum of every row and column. Find the missing sum, comparing two lines to pin down each fruit's value

7 KINDS OF TRAPS
Counting, halves, order of operations, scales, negatives and fractions, cancelling on a scale, and the order of signs. We never tell you where the trap is. Only when you fall for it do you hear "Caught in a trap!"

DIFFICULTY NEVER MIXES
Normal, Hard, Expert and Oni. You only get puzzles from the level you picked, so an easy puzzle never sneaks into a hard tier. Solved puzzles never come back, and skipped ones go to the back of the line.
