Arrow Puzzle: Unblock Puzzle

Arrow Puzzle is an offline logic puzzle about unblocking a board one arrow at a
time. Every tile carries an arrow. Tap one and it flies that way — but only if
its path to the edge is clear the whole way.

That's the whole rule. The puzzle is working out the order.

The arrow you want to move is blocked by an arrow that's blocked by an arrow.
Somewhere in that tangle there's a thread to pull, and pulling it right empties
the whole board. Arrow Puzzle is about finding that thread.


EVERY PUZZLE IS A PICTURE

Levels aren't rectangles of tiles. Each board is cut to a shape — a heart, a
key, a cat — drawn entirely in arrows, and clearing it takes the picture apart
piece by piece.


A CLOCK THAT KNOWS THE LEVEL

Every level has a countdown, and it is calculated from that level: how many
arrows, and how tangled they are. Generous enough that knowing the answer is
always enough, tight enough that guessing is not.

A blocked tap costs five seconds — more on the harder boards — and every third
one costs a life. Three lives. Run out and they come back in fifteen minutes,
or sooner if you'd rather watch a short video.

Nothing else is ever taken. Undo is free and unlimited, and your stars, levels
and coins survive every failed attempt.


EVERY LEVEL IS SOLVABLE — AND WE CHECKED

Levels are generated fresh, then handed to a separate solver that has to find a
real solution before the level is allowed to ship to you. A board that couldn't
be cleared never reaches your phone. The "par" under the board is that solver's
answer: the fewest taps the level can be done in.

The board gets more interesting as you go:

• Walls that never move
• Diagonal arrows, cutting across the grid
• Two arrows chained together that leave as one — and only when both paths are
clear
• Arrows stacked on top of each other
• Gates that open when the right arrow leaves
• Portals that carry an arrow across the board
• Rotators that turn an arrow ninety degrees mid-flight
• Frozen tiles that need thawing before they will move
• Shutters that slam closed when an arrow leaves — get the order wrong and
you'll need that undo button

Each one arrives on its own, with room to learn it.

The whole game runs on your phone. No account, no sign-in, no internet needed —
on a plane, on the underground, in a basement with no signal. Your progress is
yours and it stays on your device.


BUILT TO BE USABLE

• Full TalkBack support — every arrow announces which way it points and what is
blocking it, and the game is completable without seeing the screen
• A reduce-motion setting that genuinely stops the animation, and which also
respects your system setting
• Direction is carried by the arrow itself, never by the tile's colour, so
nothing is lost to colour blindness
• Light and dark themes, both designed properly
• Haptics and sound, each independently switchable


ABOUT ADS

There's a short ad after every second level you finish, never two within a
minute of each other, and never in the middle of a level you're playing. The
Daily Challenge and Endless have none at all.

Videos for extra lives, extra hints or extra time are only ever shown when you
ask for one, and the clock stops while you watch.
