YOUR PHOTOS STAY ON YOUR PHONE
Every edit is computed on the device. Your photos are not uploaded, not queued on a server, and not used to train anything. Google Play services delivers the background-removal model once, on first use; after that Photobe runs offline, with no connection at all — on a plane, underground, or on a bad signal. There are no ads anywhere in the app.

FREE AND PREMIUM
Free: crop, free crop, straighten, rotate and flip, the full set of adjustments — brightness, contrast, saturation, clarity and the rest — and selective local adjustments. Exports carry a small watermark.

Premium unlocks everything else: background removal, cutout, retouch, effects and filters, text, stickers, draw, collage — and removes the watermark. It is a subscription billed through Google Play, and you can cancel any time from your Play account.

WHAT PHOTOBE DOES NOT DO
It does not generate images. No AI art, no style transfer, no sky replacement, no templates. The AI here is on-device segmentation that finds a subject, hair, clothes and faces — nothing here invents pixels that were not in your photograph.
