The gunplay has impact and the animations are solid, but the game is instantly ruined by an awkward control scheme. Aiming blocks your view of the screen and the virtual joystick feels unpleasant to use, not sure why. Complaints about FINAL SQUALD's control scheme are common. It's quite essential in a video game. I only made it to mission 7 and felt the levels were overly short and similar even for a mobile game. Game has potential but requires a 2.0 overhaul patch.
