The Rosa Luxemburg Foundation (RLS) is one of the six party-affiliated political foundations in the Federal Republic of Germany. It is close to the DIE LINKE party.

The primary task of the foundation is political education. With its work, the foundation promotes a critical social analysis, progressive cultural approaches and the networking of emancipatory actors. It acts internationally in the field of development cooperation and equal dialogue and documents important results of left politics with the help of the archive of democratic socialism. In addition, as part of its Studienwerk, it supports young academics with grants.
