Horarium: Routines with alarms

Plan your days and actually stick with them. Ideal for AuDHD and procrastination

Overview

Features & Capabilities

Horarium turns your daily plan into a chain of alarms, so you always know what's next and when it starts, without having to remember to check.

Most routine and planner apps assume you'll open them and look. Horarium doesn't make that assumption. Build a routine once, a morning ritual, a work block, a wind-down, and it rings for every step in order, at the right time, on its own.

Built around how your brain actually runs
Horarium was designed with AuDHD and chronic procrastination in mind. It externalizes the sequencing and time-tracking your brain won't reliably do on its own: the app decides what's next and when, so you don't have to.

How it works
Set one anchor time and Horarium works out every alarm after it, based on how long each task takes. Set "Wind Down" to start at 9:30 with Read (18 min), Meditate (5 min), and Phone on dock (1 min), and the app rings at 9:30, 9:48, and 9:53 on its own.

Each alarm doubles as a check-in. By 9:48 you should have finished reading, so if you got pulled into your phone instead, the Meditate alarm catches the slip right there, before it eats the rest of your evening.

Focus on one task at a time
While a routine is running, the app shows exactly one task: a timer, a Mark done button, and nothing else competing for your attention. No list to get lost in, no decision to make mid-routine.

Reuse your tasks everywhere
Save a task once (Coffee & journal, Deep work, Phone in drawer) and drop it into as many routines as you like. Update its duration in one place and every routine using it updates too.

Alarms that actually grab your attention
Full-screen alerts that break through the lock screen and Do Not Disturb, not a quiet notification you can swipe away while distracted.

See what's actually working
A 90-day activity heatmap for every routine tracks completion rate, how often you start late, and which days fall apart, so you can fix the routine instead of guessing.

Go further with Pro
- Unlimited routines
- QR code alarm dismissal: stick a code on the coffee maker or the bathroom mirror, so dismissing the alarm means actually getting there
- Lock-out mode: locks a routine from edits right before it starts and requires a passphrase to quit early, so a tired, distracted you can't quietly talk your way out of it
- Tasker integration: trigger routines from NFC tags, location, or any Tasker automation
- Deeper customization options
