I like the new perks that can be bought with souls or essence, especially the Damage one. The Refund option is also incredibly great because I can experiment with different things. There's just one small issue with these perks. The Ammo Cap and Fire Rate perks (that can be bought with souls or essence) do not work. They just change nothing in the gameplay. Though, the Refund option allowed me to get back all that I invested in them. Either way, great game to play now and then!

I can't say if the game is good or not because I can't play it; the menu for buying walls, traps and recruits is super broken. The prices aren't listed unless you click the buttons, but you can't see the prices because the item appears directly where you click AKA directly behind the button, hiding the price.
