User Reviews

ReaderPro is praised for its effective and engaging speed reading exercises that help users improve reading speed and skills. Users appreciate its one-time purchase model over subscriptions, simple interface, and progress tracking. However, common issues include some bugs like erratic language switching and navigation glitches, small font sizes in parts of the app, and awkward English due to translation. Users also note that automatic difficulty adjustments can be imprecise. Overall, it's a motivating and useful tool with minor usability and language polishing needed.

Pros

Effective speed reading and reading skill improvement exercises
Favorably priced with a lifetime purchase option instead of subscription
User-friendly and simple interface that is easy to navigate
Fun and engaging exercises that motivate consistent use
Tracks progress and helps increase reading speed significantly

Cons

Some minor bugs such as exercise interruptions and accidental settings navigation
Occasional unexplained changes in language or idiom settings
Poor or awkward English language in instructions and descriptions indicating non-native translation issues
Font sizes in some exercises are too small to read comfortably
Automatic level setting can be inaccurate due to how it handles minor mistakes

Recent reviews

This is one of the few speed reading / executive function training apps that I find worthy of purchasing. I dislike subscription based software, so I was glad to see the buy once lifetime usage option. I uninstalled my previous favorite speed reading app by the German based Hekuit, after buying MULTIPLE times on different platforms and STILL forcing a subscription on me! If you're sick of getting 'milked' by monthly charges ...take a close look at this one.

I really appreciate that the schlute table has a central dot. I have an S.T. app but it doesn't have an option to add that and, as of right now, I can't focus on the center point without it but that's the whole point of the exercise. The rest of the app is amazing, as well, I've improved a lot with it. It even has memory exercises. I had completely lost my joy for reading because of my lack of efficiency and speed but with all the different live-adaptive exercises I'm enjoying reading again.
