The Deixis Project seeks to rescue and disseminate heritage information in Augmented Reality (AR) format -technology that allows virtual elements to be superimposed on the real environment- and contribute to the sociocultural development of the Aysén region and the country, facilitating access to relevant content scientific and cultural.

All models displayed in the app. Deixis are exact copies of archaeological pieces found in the Aysén Region, reflecting the work of researchers to understand the human trajectories of settlement in Patagonia.

The Deixis Project was financed by the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage, Exempt Resolution No. 101 of April 9, 2021, folio 601608, which has the authorization of the authors of the book “Arqueología de Aisén. 12 thousand years of occupation”, César Méndez, Amalia Nuevo-Delaunay and Omar Reyes, researchers from the Ecosystem Research Center of Patagonia, CIEP.
