The Lost Books of the Bible

Read all lost books of the Bible free and offline here

Features & Capabilities

The Lost Books of the Bible Chrome extension provides free and offline access to a rich collection of New Testament Apocrypha, as compiled by Rutherford H. Platt, Jr. in 1926. This unique compilation includes cherished works read by early Christians but later excluded from the canonical Bible, such as the Gospel of Mary, the Protevangelion, and letters attributed to Paul, Seneca, Herod, and Pilate.

With these texts, users can explore additional folklore surrounding the life and youth of Jesus, non-canonical epistles like Laodiceans, and significant writings like the Shepherd of Hermas, which employs apocalyptic symbolism. This app offers invaluable insights into the fluidity of the early Biblical canon, making it an essential resource for scholars, students, and anyone interested in early Christian history and literature.

Can't read it. It's hard to get out of need to be able to size the words needs a out button

As soon as I opened the Introduction to one of the books, I tried to read it, but the first letter in each line of words is off-screen, so I have to stare at each of those words until I figure out what the words are. Also, the screen doesn't zoom in or zoom out, so I can't see the word's first letters that way either. I doubt you'll ever fix it, so that makes this whole app worthless!
