2024-10-26	To*****	Update: After trying fiddling with the timer for a while across multiple host devices, it started to work again with my Pixel 7. V2.11 b92. (The issue was: the timer app will connect, but will not trigger the start or start signal beep.) The timer worked the entire time with the iOS App v1.77 b1. On LG G8X Android 12, the App keeps crashing at launch after the Bluetooth Connection Type is set. Android App need serious work, even when working, the Firmware Version and Battery Life are not shown.

2024-03-14	On*****	Can't use it. It wants too many unnecessary permissions. It says it needs my devices location. It should work without that info. I'm returning the unit and buying a traditional timer that doesn't require the use of a phone and it's location. I follow ASP and am disappointed in the unnecessary tech.

The app sees the unit, but that's it. It simply does nothing, no signal to start. I have reached out to tech support, and they said they were aware of the issue, and an update to the app was coming. That was several months ago. So it's a paperweight, and the FB group is of little help as well.

2022-10-20	Pa*****	Garbage app. Forgot password link doesn't send email. Unable to reset pw on website? All saved results lost. Timer works great but isn't worth a damn if you can't track progress. App crashes every time you click the feedback button.

2021-12-10	Ja*****	Updating to 3 stars only for the customer service experience. The broken Android app rendered my timer a paperweight, but they let me return it for a full refund when I was well outside of the return window. I wish it was a better experience, but ig I'll stick to the pocket pro II for now.

2021-07-10	An*****	The timer itself is pretty solid. The app needs some work though. Saving results would fail repeatedly but then work randomly. Doesn't reliably save photos either. Even changing how the saved results are ranked would give error codes. Could really use a bug fix update. Otherwise I really like the product but at this moment too many bugs to recommend to my friends. I have a Pixel 4A for those curious.

Update and response to range tech That didn't work I tried it already i did also contact support already and nothing so far works. it does appear to be something with my phone because it worked fine with a friend's phone I have a moto z4 and my friend had an iphone of some sort worked fine with the iphone still can connect it with app on the moto

We discovered it is a Samsung issue, I tried different Samsung phones and it didn't work on any of them. Used the iPad and issues were resolved. Also discover that while I had the timer plugged in it registered shots,but once unplugged it worked awesome. So I'm looking for other old phones that might work. They are awesome with customer service

2020-06-28	K *****	I don't understand why the app needs permission to track location, or my phone's mic. Bluetooth alone should be enough to connect to the device, not location. If I'm using the mic from the $80 Rangetech device, why does it need to use my phone's mic? Shouldn't I just return it and use an app at that point?
