The logistics and delivery process begins with booking the order, where customers place requests through a web portal, mobile app, or integrated APIs. This step captures essential details such as sender and receiver information, package specifications, delivery address, and payment mode (prepaid or COD), after which a unique tracking number is generated. Once the order is booked, the assignment of trips takes place, where the system or dispatch manager groups and assigns deliveries to drivers or vehicles based on optimized routes, load capacity, and location. Assigned drivers are notified via an app or SMS. In parallel, inward and outward management ensures proper handling of goods within the hub or warehouse. Inward management involves receiving, verifying, and sorting incoming goods, while outward management handles the picking, packing, and dispatching of items for delivery, with all transactions logged in real-time. To keep customers informed and enhance communication, the system utilizes WhatsApp API communication, automatically sending receipts, invoices, tracking links, and delivery notifications directly to the recipient’s WhatsApp, with support for media files and local languages. For secure and authenticated delivery, OTP verification on delivery is implemented, where a one-time password is sent to the customer, which must be presented to the delivery personnel before the parcel is handed over. This prevents unauthorized receipt and ensures accurate delivery. Finally, proof of evidence on delivery is captured through digital signatures, photos of the delivered package, timestamps, and GPS coordinates, all of which are stored in the system for audit and customer service purposes. This end-to-end process ensures a secure, transparent, and efficient delivery experience for all stakeholders.
