台北市警察局推出官方手機應用「北市警政」，提供民眾一站式警政與交通服務。App涵蓋12大類功能，包括語音（110/165）與文字、影音報案、在地安全防護點與客製路線、違規舉報、交通執法資訊（固定測速、拖吊、事故熱點、交通狀況）、線上各類申請（如交通安全守護者、違規簡訊服務、事故表單進度查詢等）以及緊急警示、巡邏簽到與宣導影片等。

此App並提供使用教學、版本資訊與意見回饋機制，並連結台北市資料平台與相關Facebook專頁，方便用戶查詢失物、拖吊紀錄與公共自行車實名登記。建議使用Android 5.0以上手機並安裝行動安全軟體以確保裝置安全。

Cons

No English version available, making it difficult for foreign users to report crimes.
Violation reporting features are limited in area selection, mostly only covering certain districts (e.g., Zhongzheng, Zhongshan, Datong).
The app has many technical issues including inability to submit reports, app crashes after submission, and error messages meant for developers displayed to users.
Mandatory pop-ups asking for app ratings repeatedly annoy users.
Data privacy concerns exist, such as exposure of personal user information during identity verification.

Recent reviews

Police reports don't allow English names. Not everyone takes on a new name when they move to a new country. I don't know if this is a police database problem or a programing problem but it should be corrected immediately. Edit: they have replied but did not address the fact that my NAME is not allowed to be submitted.
