User Reviews

Forsake The Rake appeals with nostalgia, fun gameplay, responsive controls, solid graphics, and a spooky atmosphere. However, reviews consistently note intrusive ads and recurring bugs that disrupt progression (missing spawns, level blockers) as well as update-related glitches. The game shows strong potential for fans of rake-themed horror, but reliability and polish need improvement for a consistently smooth experience.

Pros

Nostalgia/childhood memories that make the game feel familiar and charming
Fun and engaging gameplay that remains entertaining despite occasional bugs
Smooth controls that feel responsive
Good graphics that enhance the atmosphere
Scary/horror atmosphere with the Rake theme

Cons

Frequent ads that interrupt gameplay
Level progression bugs such as missing items (e.g., generator, gun) or blockers preventing advancing to level 2
General bugs/glitches and instability, especially after updates

Recent reviews

Unfortunately, when I played the game in past before 2 years ago, there was the companion with me. And now the companion is not there. I think after updating the game by the poison games. Maybe they have forgotten to remove the companion and I do not recognize what it is. Nevertheless, I hereby request to check this game and have some faults be cleared as soon as possible.
