There's a lot of great customization options in the settings -- you can play horizontally and vertically and you can customize what kind of characters you want: Straight couples? Only boys? Only girls? Anyone with anyone? Are outfits gender locked? Etc. There is language support for both English and Japanese, and it's easy to switch. The translation is not native level but it's easy to understand!
