Shad Shift

ShadShift is a minimalist 2D platformer with puzzle elements, designed for Android, including low-end devices. Players control Kio, who finds himself trapped in an underground world after a mysterious rupture in the earth. To escape, he must overcome traps, solve physics-based puzzles, and uncover the truth behind what happened on the surface.

The core gameplay mechanic involves moving spheres into specific positions using cubes and other physical objects. Players must use logic and clever thinking to complete levels, each filled with pits, spikes, shooting traps, and moving platforms.

The game stands out for its unique dark minimalist style: a muted color palette, pixel art graphics, and simple but expressive characters and platforms. Footstep sounds, object interactions, and suspenseful music create an atmosphere of isolation and mystery.
