Nice when it works, but repeatedly I would open the app when we found the right spot and it wouldn't be able to open the camera (just a black screen). I would have to close the app completely and open it again, watch the intro screen, by which time littleuns are bored and frustrated of waiting and wandering off. Would be a good app if it worked. It even stopped the regular camera app on my phone from working a couple of times.

I read a lot of negative reviews for this but it worked really well for us. Took me a while to realise the images and videos are saved in the files of my phone and not in the app. I'd recommend getting another person to do the interacting with the character so your child can watch the activity.

Interesting idea, unfortunately family left disappointed. Caused phone to get very hot, crashed a few times on the snake disc and dint save progress. Asks the children to interact but daughter was left confused - could not see if there was a way to change it to use the front camera so kids could see and interact at same time. We had a nice day in the woods but ultimately the Gruffalo experience was found wanting.
