Solids AR - Augmented Reality

Solids AR - Augmented Reality is an educational Chrome extension designed to bring geometry to life using augmented reality technology. It enables users to visualize and interact with a variety of geometric solids by scanning QR codes with an Android device.

The extension features five modules: Visualization, Nets, Creation, Modeling, and Geoboard. Users can explore 42 geometric solids, manipulate their views by toggling edges and vertices, and adjust scale and rotation. The Nets module offers interactive flat patterns for select solids. In the Creation module, users build custom AR scenes using primitive shapes and transform them creatively. The Modeling module allows construction of complex figures from 2D polygons to 3D shapes. Finally, the Geoboard module provides a virtual platform to add lines and shapes for hands-on geometric exploration. Support materials with QR codes are available for download to enhance learning experiences.
