With the SOS-ID, you are optimally prepared for emergencies, as essential medical information is quickly accessible as part of emergency preparedness.

The Emergency ID / Emergency Passport app allows you to create various medical profiles that can be displayed directly on the lock screen via QR code. This gives first responders and medical staff immediate access to important information - even without using the app. Create an unlimited number of profiles, store important emergency contacts and customize the QR code as you wish.

Main functions:

- Create medical profiles: Record detailed information for various emergency scenarios. Unlimited number of profiles, where two profiles can be set in relation to each other.

- Lock screen widget: Direct access to your medical data right from the lock screen – without needing to unlock the device.

- Customizable positioning: Flexibly adjust the widget's position to suit your preferences.

- Data protection: By default, 100% of your medical data is stored locally on your device.

USE OF ACCESSIBILITY SERVICES (AccessibilityService API)

This app uses the AccessibilityService API to display the emergency data you have stored in the SOS-ID as a banner on your lock screen. This allows first responders and paramedics to see vital information in an emergency (e.g. blood group, allergies, medication, emergency contacts) without having to unlock your device. The service is used solely to detect when your device is locked and to show the emergency banner over the lock screen. The app does not read screen content, does not record any input, and does not transmit any data to us or to third parties. All emergency data remains exclusively on your device. The data is not used for advertising or analytics.

This feature is optional and disabled by default. You are explicitly asked for
your consent before it is activated, and you can disable it again at any time
in the app and in your system settings.
