The catch is that the battlefield has limited slots, so if you fill every spot, you will hit a “no more space†moment and you must merge quickly to make room.

Waves get stronger and more chaotic, with faster enemies and tougher targets that demand higher-level units. Smart placement helps you cover multiple angles, while timely merges keep your firepower scaling without wasting slots. Defeating enemies drops rewards and pickups, letting you keep building momentum and upgrading during the run.
