great idea but lacking data ...

You should make it clear that this app new and has very little data. You're responding to every criticism like that, but people would be less critical and more willing to volunteer if that were explained when they download the app instead of claiming to show where all the public washrooms are already. The local volunteer approach will be a clumsy way to get this done. Write head offices of major chains like Metro or McDonalds. Write to every library. Include hours. Great idea. Poor execution.
