Interactive 360° virtual tour of the temporary exhibition dedicated to the artist Jean Bardin (1732-1809) at the Orléans Museum of Fine Arts and entitled “The Sacred Fire”.

Orléans was a dynamic city when the amateur Aignan Thomas Desfriches obtained the opening of a free drawing school in 1786. These schools which are developing in the provinces work towards cultural democratization by training designers outside Paris to revive factories. On the recommendation of the Royal Academy, the king's painter Jean Bardin became its professor-director.
Little known despite his artistic influence, he sees his legacy reestablished thanks to this retrospective which brings together his works for the first time.
