Design your defense

Place buildings on a grid and work around the shape of the battlefield. Fit structures together, leave routes for your troops and position your defenses where they can support one another. Space is a resource: a crowded city still needs room for its defenders to move.

Use the preparation phase to rethink your layout. Add another building, combine a matching pair or adjust your formation before sending your forces into battle. Good base defense begins with the choices you make before the first enemy arrives.

Collect building fragments and use them with coins to upgrade your collection between battles. Unlock additional buildings as you progress and expand the tools available for future defenses.
