Features & Capabilities

Dien Bien Phu In The Air 1972 is a strategic game set during the intense aerial campaign of Operation Linebacker II in the Vietnam War. Developed by Pirex Games, it offers players a unique chance to reenact the fierce battle between North Vietnamese forces and the US B-52 bombers over Hanoi in December 1972. The game captures the tension and stakes of the historic conflict where the US aimed to force North Vietnam into the Paris Agreement, ultimately leading to a decisive moment in the war.

By immersing in this game, players gain insight into the military tactics and the revolutionary spirit of the Hanoi people during one of the war's most critical periods. The extension serves both as an engaging gameplay experience and an educational tool highlighting Operation Linebacker II, often referred to as the "Dien Bien Phu in the air" for its significance in the aerial theater of the Vietnam War.
