Valius is a skilled hunter and a skilled butcher, but that's all. He works in the royal kitchen. Mortedra is a land of kings and palaces, and naturally, palace staff abound. Valius is in love with the king's only daughter. This isn't uncommon. After all, who doesn't dream of a prince or princess?
