Reaction Sensor A01

Originally developed as a boxing training tool, this app allows you to test and track your reaction speed by detecting any movement of your device in response to a stimulus sound.

To use the app, simply choose a preset, start the test, place the device in your pocket, and react to the sounds with any sharp movement. The app will detect your reaction speed and provide information on your performance.

In addition to testing your reactions from your pocket, you can also attach the device to a target and hit the target to track your performance. This makes the app useful not just for athletes, but for anyone looking to test any kind of response action. Kick a pad, swing a bat, pick up an object, side step, box jump, push up - by fine-tuning the settings to your needs the sensor should be able to detect any physical reaction.

Every setting is exposed and adjustable in the app, but for ease of use we have included various preset tests that require quick thinking as well as fast reflexes. The "Standard Beep Test" preset will track your fastest reactions, but the "Numeric Random" preset will test your thinking speed as well by calling out a number from 1 to 6 for you to quicken your shadow boxing strikes.

The app also provides the ability to export all the data it collects. The exported data can be used for further analysis or shared with trainers and coaches for feedback and guidance.
