ThreatSniper+ is a lightweight malware detection tool that checks your installed apps against a database of over one million known malicious app signatures. It’s the perfect extra layer of protection for people who install lots of apps, sideload APKs, or just want to make sure nothing suspicious is hiding on their device.

How it Works:
When you install ThreatSniper+, you also download the full database of known malicious app signatures. (These are just harmless SHA256 hashes - no malicious code is included.) The database is updated regularly so ThreatSniper+ can identify the latest known threats.

When you run a scan, the app calculates a SHA256 hash for each of your installed apps and compares it to the blacklist — one by one. If anything matches, it gets flagged instantly so you can uninstall it right away.
