Next Level Museum Fun: Visit the Max Ernst Museum and become an artist yourself! With the creative collecting and designing app "Max Ernst AR" you slip into the role of Max Ernst, scan works of art, collect 12 hidden shapes and everyday objects from the more than 70 sculptures in the collection, learn exciting knowledge, answer puzzle questions and design your own virtual figure as a work of art.

Make your way through the museum and discover how Max Ernst assembled his sculptures from individual elements. For his sculptures, Max Ernst used simple everyday objects such as egg cartons, flower pots, natural materials such as pebbles and shells, or basic mathematical shapes and transformed their meaning through his unusual, imaginative, sometimes humorous new combinations.

And now it's up to you! First you have to discover all the individual objects in the various sculptures. Once you have found the objects, you can collect them in the gallery. With your collection you can start in the workshop and get creative. Put the individual shapes together. You can enlarge or reduce them, double them or cover them with a different surface. Almost done: All that's missing is your artist name and a cool title. Enter it and your own work of art is ready!
