Strange Trees Photo Frames

A strange is nothing but an odd or different. Now we are talking about strange trees. We can see many different types of trees on the planet called the earth. Modern humans rarely live in trees but that doesn't mean we can live without them. About 3 trillion trees currently exist, enriching habitats from old-growth forests to city streets. Yet despite our deep-rooted reliance on trees, we tend to take them for granted.

If you have a small yard a big sugar maple or stately oak won't fit. Luckily there are plenty of petite trees that can be planted in your yard or garden. Many trees have been bred for smaller spaces. The new documentary by the Middle East-based Palestinian American director and poet from the leftist Levantine Diaspora will depict her return to Galilee after 20 years of absence and her parent’s death to embrace the vibrant family and community she seeks in her ancestral Christian Arab land.

I wanted to find out what makes the Galilean people universally beautiful. What is their Mediterranean lifestyle and how could I reclaim my space in my family land. Explains Shoufani I want to imagine what life might have been had my parents stayed or am I lucky to have wandered the earth without roots. Shoufani adds the film asks difficult questions on minority faith the erosion of identity patriotic allegiance muddled citizenship and fragmented communal memory after 70-plus years of living as Israeli citizens.

The beauty of trees immortalized them in literature more than in J.R.R. Tolkien. I am at home among the trees said Legolas the elf in The Fellowship of the Ring but it might as well have been Tolkien himself speaking. Under a black pine in the Oxford Botanic Gardens. The author sat and penned part of his famous trilogy inspired by the unique trees and plants surrounding him. Tolkien viewed trees as living breathing creatures with human-like characteristics and it’s easy to see why.

From Japan’s bamboo forests to the ponderosa pines of Utah. The world’s trees are as diverse and beautiful as their people. Here are the most unique trees and forests around the world that will give you a Tolkien Esque love for trees. Ta Prohm is one of the many beautiful temples in Siem Reap Cambodia. Socotra is a small archipelago of four islands in the Indian Ocean near the Gulf of Aden. Situated some 250 miles off the coast of Yemen. The largest member of the archipelago also called Socotra is home to some of the weirdest looking plants that are found nowhere else on the planet. Like the Galapagos Islands. This island is teeming with 825 rare species of plants of which more than a third are endemic. Extremely high levels of endemism also occur in Socotra’s reptiles. 90% of its reptile species and 95% of its land snail species do not occur anywhere else in the world. The marine life of Socotra is also diverse with 253 species of reef-building corals 730 species of coastal fish and 300 species of crab lobster and shrimp and well represented in the property’s marine areas.

Despite all this the future of the species is uncertain. Few populations are regenerating naturally and in some areas, young trees lack the species' characteristic umbrella shape. Trail trees, trail marker trees, crooked trees, prayer trees, thong trees, or culturally modified trees are hardwood trees throughout North America that Native Americans intentionally shaped with distinctive characteristics that convey that the tree was shaped by human activity rather than deformed by nature or disease.
