The Little Prince in AR - Lite

With the app "The Reader in AR - The Little Prince" we want to bring the imagination-stimulating reading of books into our modern world and decouple it from space and time.

The proverbial "grandmother" is not always available when a child would like to have someone read a book aloud, but many parents also don't want to let their kids only be entertained by television or videos.

This is where the Augmented Reality app "The Reader in AR - The Little Prince" comes in.

While the camera of an iPhone or iPad is pointed towards the room (it's best to hold the phone at chest height at a slight angle towards the floor so that the perspective fits well), the reader and some interesting 3D objects are immediately 'projected' into the room and can be experienced from all sides - just like in real life. But you can also simply put the device down and listen to the reader and possibly even fall asleep comfortably...

The current version covers the first few minutes of the book and is intended to show what is possible and whet the appetite for more.
