This application was developed by the Advisory and Consulting project, of the Extension Program in Bodybuilding at the University of the State of Santa Catarina. Its usefulness is to allow the practical and rapid application of the handgrip strength assessment of Brazilians of both sexes, aged between 20 and 60 years. The algorithm used to calculate the evaluations reported by the APPerte application was based on a scientific publication (Sport Sciences for Health), carried out as a partnership between three Brazilian public universities: The State University of Santa Catarina (PEM Program), The Federal University Santa Catarina (Lab.
