Turntable speed calibration made easy using a smartphone. I had previously been using a Stroboscope Disc that required halogen bulb to set the correct speed of my turntable, but this app is so much more convenient. It also shows how accurate the electronics of the turntable motor controller is. Great app for vinyl enthusiasts. 👍🏾😁

My turntable had two little screws(one screw for 33.3 and one for 45) which increased, and decreased the rpm of the turntable. Placing the smartphone centrally on the turntable allowed me to increase the speed by .1 rpm at a time, until exactly 33.3 rpm and then 45rpm were reached. I was amazed how accurately the app showed tiny increments of rpm speed difference as I slowly turned the screws. Brilliant, wonderful app, which helped me solve a difficult problem. Absolutely definitely recommended.
