Colab Automatic Clicker

By: Filippo
Automatically clicks every minute the Connect button on a Colab page to prevent it from shutting down.

Features & Capabilities

The Colab Automatic Clicker Chrome extension ensures your Google Colab notebooks stay active by automatically clicking the Connect button every minute. This prevents session timeouts and interruptions that can disrupt ongoing machine learning or deep learning model training. Once activated on a Colab page, the extension works silently in the background, eliminating the need for manual intervention to keep your session alive.

Designed specifically for Google Colab users, this lightweight tool helps maintain workflow continuity and saves valuable training time by preventing unexpected disconnections. Simply click the extension icon while on a Colab notebook, and it starts clicking Connect every minute automatically. It only activates on Colab pages, ensuring no unnecessary clicks elsewhere.

The active session window is on and off periodically. It seems to be the mechanism to trick Colab's detection. Anyway, the add-on works as expected.
