My Song Discovery is a music recommendation system developed using artificial intelligence in order to recommend new personalized music experiences for each user according to their musical style!

Login with Spotify is necessary so that we can analyze your musical style and thus we can recommend songs especially for you! After logging in we are able to recover which songs each user likes to hear and which songs the user has recently saved. With this information, we can analyze various attributes of each song, such as if these songs are acoustic, if they are only instrumental, if they are live shows, decibel value and so on.

From these data we can find a pattern in the songs that the user usually listens to and therefore we are able to recommend new songs that have similarity to the songs that each user tends to listen to.
