■ Can we go? A quick look
Asphalt in midsummer gets much hotter than the air temperature. Even at times when it's perfectly fine for humans, it can be dangerous for a dog's paws.
"Walk Check" uses data on temperature, sunlight, wind, and rain to estimate the temperature of the road surface and displays at a glance whether it's safe to go for a walk using a "Paw Pad Index" of ○ (Safe) / △ (Caution) / × (Dangerous).

■ Main Features
- Current Paw Pad Index: Displays ○△× with a mascot's expression.
- Timeline: Displays a list of assessments for each time of day today. Switchable up to 7 days in advance
* Recommended walking time: Highlights times when the road surface is safe and there is no rain or snow.
* Displays the next OK time.
* Morning notification (ON in settings): If there are dangerous times during the day, you will be notified all at once in the morning.
* Home screen widget: Check the current assessment without opening the app (3 sizes).
* Mascot selection: Choose from Husky, Shiba Inu, Toy Poodle, Chihuahua, Miniature Dachshund, Cairn Terrier, Labrador Retriever, Dog, or Cat.
* Sensitivity setting: "Sensitive" mode provides a safer assessment for puppies and short-legged breeds.
* Offline support: Displays the last acquired data even when out of range (acquisition time is clearly displayed).

■ How to choose a location
Simply choose from cities and towns nationwide. You can also choose from your current location using GPS (use of location information is optional).

■ Important request (Disclaimer)
This app is not a weather forecast. It is an estimated index (paw print index) that independently estimates the temperature of the road surface based on the calculation results of a numerical weather prediction model. It includes errors. The actual temperature of the road surface varies greatly depending on the location, the material of the road surface, and the amount of sunlight.
Before going for a walk, always check the road surface with your hand for a few seconds. The developers are not responsible for any damage caused by the use of this app.
