Fluentish is a language learning app that turns scrolling into studying. Open a feed, scroll, and learn Spanish, learn French, learn German, learn Italian or learn Arabic one card at a time: Spanish vocabulary, French vocabulary, German vocabulary, Italian vocabulary or Arabic vocabulary, plus listening, reading, and speaking practice in an endless stream that adapts to your level. LEARN ARABIC FROM ZERO
Arabic is taught as Modern Standard Arabic across all ten levels, starting with the alphabet itself. Early cards carry the harakat, the short-vowel marks, and shed them as you climb, which is how real Arabic text works. Arabic is laid out right to left and set at a size it can actually be read at.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Speaking practice is graded from recognized text, never from audio: your recordings never reach Fluentish. Your phone does the recognizing, on device where it supports the language and otherwise through Google's own speech service, the same one behind your keyboard's dictation key.

Fluentish has seven language pairs: Spanish, Italian, French, German and Arabic for English speakers, plus English for Spanish and French speakers. Each direction is its own course, generated and checked separately rather than mirrored from another language. The app interface is available in English, Spanish and French. More pairs are on the way; we'd rather do these properly than ship ten badly.
