Unfog: a walking fog game

The map is covered in fog. It only lifts where you actually walk: cell by cell, street by street, at your own pace.

EXPLORE FOR REAL
• The fog lifts only where you walk, outdoors
• Going too fast pauses the reveal: Unfog is played on foot
• Scan around you to reveal your first cells

THREE KINDS OF FINDS
• Beacons (common): placed in the areas you have revealed
• Shards (rare, personal): a single copy, just for you
• Veins (very rare, world-wide): never an exact position ahead of time, only a directional glow. First come, first served: once someone captures one, it is gone for everyone

PROGRESS
• A collection that keeps every capture, dated
• City leaderboard by points, revealed cells or Veins, for the day, the week, the season or all time
• Daily streak, weekly quests and a daily reminder you can switch off
• Gems to spend on cosmetics: fog styles, trails, map pins, a capture animation and a collection frame

PLAY WITH FRIENDS
• Create or join a Crew with an invite code
• Pool your revealed maps and chase a weekly Crew objective
• Share your map card with your friends

PRIVACY
Your location is only used while you play, to reveal the map and validate your captures. Other players never see your position. If you are in a Crew, its members see the cells you reveal on the Crew map shortly after, with the time, so they can tell where you have walked. An offline queue keeps your captures when the network drops and sends them as soon as you are back online.

FREE TO PLAY
Unfog is free and shows ads. There are no in-app purchases: gems are only earned by playing.
