WHY AN INVENTORY
Insurers tell every policyholder to keep a contents inventory. Almost nobody does, because the manual version is hundreds of rows of typing. After a fire, flood or burglary, the inventory is the claim.

HOW IT WORKS
• Two wide shots per room, from the doorway and the opposite corner. The app reads both together and merges them into one list.
• Each item card shows a zoomed crop of the object, a name, a quantity and an estimated replacement-cost range.
• Coverage gaps: the app tells you what it could not see, like a closed closet or a dresser's drawers, and turns each into a suggested photo.
• Close-ups that pin the value: designer furniture, electronics and instruments get flagged. A photo of the label or a receipt replaces the estimate.
• Policy limit check: enter your contents limit and see whether you are likely underinsured.
• PDF and CSV reports with photos, items, values and a high-value schedule for your agent.
• Kept with your account, not only on the phone, and reviewable on any computer at aihomeinventory.co.

Values are estimated replacement-cost ranges for items of equivalent kind and quality at current retail. They are not appraisals. Jewelry, art and collectibles are never given a number; you enter the appraisal or receipt value.
