Hotot is a Twitter client developed for Chrome. This lightweight extension is open source and is still in its Alpha stage of development. Despite its dependence on fewer resources, it offers a multitude of features. These include support for OAuth and Basic Auth, API Proxy, Twitter search capabilities, content filter, and provides real-time updates via User Streams. Hotot additionally features a system for keyboard shortcuts and extensions.

It's abandoned, so still has 140 character DM limit etc. Also can't move the reply window outside of the main window which is a bit irritating. Was good in its day but that day was a couple of years ago now. My star rating is a bit unfair on it but I don't really think abandonware should be on here and people need to know it's no longer maintained.
