12/9/2023 - I was hesitant to purchase the tree knowing all the issues with the app. For the price the price the tree is a great deal alone. It can control 90% of the colors from the button on the controller. I download the app before I set up my tree and was unable to get it to open or work at all. Would crash at the splash/loading screen. After I had my tree plugged in and turned on the app started working fine. No issues so far.
