OpenBin – gestione contenitori

penBin is the service app for those who collect waste and maintain containers in the area: you
hold your phone close to the container's NFC tag, and the emptying is recorded, with the date, time, and
location. No lists to check off at the end of your shift.

IT WORKS EVEN WITHOUT CELLULAR NETWORK
In courtyards, garages, and valleys, there's no network. Readings and reports remain in a queue
on your phone and start automatically as soon as the connection returns: work done isn't lost, and you don't
need to remember to redo it. The list of containers is saved on the device, so a tag is
recognized even offline.

ONE READING, ONE SECOND
When you hold the tag close, the app displays the container—code, type, address, last emptied—and
automatically confirms after three seconds. With gloves on, there's nothing to touch.

REPORT WHAT'S WRONG
From the container you just read, a problem report opens (damaged container,
illegal dumping, container already empty) with a photo and a note. The note can be dictated by voice, which, with
gloves, is faster than typing. There's also a quick report: just take a photo and
it's off, for anything you encounter on the road that doesn't involve a container.

REGISTER A NEW CONTAINER
If the tag isn't listed, you can record it on the spot: type, group, address, and location, corrected
by dragging the map under the pin if the GPS isn't accurate.

THE TOUR MAP
The group's containers on your phone, with those already served today highlighted: you can see at a glance
what's missing. It works on saved data, so even in weaker areas.

HISTORY AT YOUR FINGERTIPS
The last ten activities on your home screen, with the outcome, time, address, and a reminder of what's still
in the queue. Tapping an item reveals the attached note and photo.

DESIGNED FOR THE FIELD
Three themes—light, dark, and high contrast for the blazing sun—large text and buttons designed
to be hit with gloves. The phone, which changes hands between shifts, is emptied of the operator's
data when the account is logged out, except for what has yet to be sent.

COMPANY ACCOUNT REQUIRED
OpenBin is a work tool: access is via credentials provided by the company that
manages the service. Without an enabled account, the app has no content to display.
