Close discarded tabs

PLEASE READ MORE (EXPAND COMMENTS FOR ADDITIONAL FOLLOW-UP AFTER YOUR RESPONSE!!) On Windows 7 (using floorp browser) - all tabs get closed when clicking where the add-on's icon is located (icon no longer displays, just empty space where add-on can be used) none of which could have been 'discarded' because the tabs are closed within moments of using the browser. Tried disabling/enabling add-on. I'll look forward to changing review if this gets fixed. (if I'm not mistaken these issues do not occur on Windows 10, but I'm not 100% certain of this and cannot confirm at this time. I am fairly certain the icon used to display in the past on Windows 7 using floorp however.) PLEASE EXPAND THESE COMMENTS TO SEE MORE ADDITIONAL COMMENTS POSTED AFTER YOUR RESPONSE!!! I'M NOT SURE IF YOU WILL NOTICED THIS EDIT - I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO REPLY TO YOUR RESPONSE (IT TOOK BE AN HOUR TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO POST THE COMMENTS ABOVE). THE ICON STILL DOES NOT DISPLAY!! (I wish I could add red color to comments to draw attention to my edit). It seems to me there should be a REPLY BUTTON in your response - but there's no display of this type of function. I was thinking - do I have to delete this post and then enter another concerning the OTHER ISSUE OF THE ICON NOT DISPLAYING (that I had mentioned in my original post where I stated quote: "where the add-on's icon is located (icon no longer displays, just empty space where add-on can be used)" - where as you can see I mentioned the "icon no longer displays, just empty space...). I would add to that, when the browser first loads the icon does display for a few seconds (perhaps 1-3 seconds) but then disappears - leaving a gap where the icon should display that turns black when I hover that empty area where the icon should display (and I might add can be accessed by clicking on the empty area where the icon is missing). It would be nice to attach a screen-shot - but I guess that's not allowed either in this forum.

Note: 'pinned' tab(s) do not get removed, because I have the option to retain 'pinned' tabs enabled - so that works.

Great add-on that does exactly what it claims. An option to not close pinned tabs would be nice.
