Close Container Firefox

Close Container

Close all tabs of a container from the tab context menu or a toolbar button popup.

Features & Capabilities

Done with work? Spent enough time on social networks? Paid all bills?

Quickly close all tabs sharing a container with this extension. Just select the container that the tabs should be closed for and they're gone!

Pinned tabs are only closed when you right-click on a pinned tab or shift is held when clicking on the container in the popup, else they are excluded.

This is a very simple "tab grouping" approach based on containers. If you want more powerful grouping, look into dedicated extensions.

Translations This extension is available in English, German and simplified Chinese.

Is Close Container Safe?

Risk impact
Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.

Close Container does not require any sensitive permissions.
