Clippings saves and manages frequently-entered text so you can paste snippets into Firefox form fields with just two clicks. Create clippings from selected text, store the source URL, color‑label important items, assign keyboard shortcuts, and use built-in or custom placeholders (date, time, name, etc.) that prompt you for input when pasting. Import and export clippings in multiple formats and sync across Firefox and Thunderbird.

Clippings includes a searchable autocomplete, folder organization via Clippings Manager, and options to paste formatted HTML when supported. Some sites or Private Browsing settings may restrict pasting; in those cases you can copy clipping text from the manager. Support resources, quick start guides, and translation contributions are available on the AE Creations website and help forums.

This is such a useful extension. Because it's so well-integrated into Firefox, you can use it to paste almost anything anywhere. So, you can use it to store and paste special characters, or search strings that you want to re-use, or text that you want to re-use. And you can store the snippets in folders that are easy to organize. You can even leave the Clippings mini tab open, as if it were a regular browser tab, and tug on the mini tab to make it bigger. It's just a wonderful extension.
