The Clear Cache and Data Firefox add-on is appreciated for its ability to selectively clear browsing data and speed up the browser, giving users configuration options not present in Firefox's native tools. However, multiple users complain about it unexpectedly deleting saved passwords, causing pop-up windows to hang, incomplete clearing of some data types, and requiring more clicks than native options.
