Features & Capabilities

CleanCites Simply looks for citations in the below format on websites.

  • Check if it contains a year in parentheses (e.g., (2021))
  • Check for author-year format: "Author, A. (YYYY)"
  • Check for citation patterns with journal names or volume/page info
  • Min 5 letter words, ensures bracketed text does not start with e.g. or see.
and helps hide or highlight them making your journal article reading process more enjoyable.
