I decided to try this out hoping that it would work, but instead of doing as shown it would just sit there uselessly. I am honestly disappointed.

Overall design simple and useful, but it counts double-dashes (my replacement for the em-dash while writing online) as "words," e.g. counting 503 for a document I know to be 500 even. Also, it says it "can read and change site data," and I have to wonder why a word-count utility would need access to CHANGE site data. I'm gonna keep looking.
