Cimas Health Sync is a health and wellness companion designed for Cimas medical aid members. The app helps you view your medical aid information and track personal wellness metrics.

📱 DEVICE REQUIREMENTS: Some features of this app require connection to an external wearable fitness device or health platform (such as Garmin, Fitbit, Apple Watch, Samsung Health, Google Fit, Oura Ring, WHOOP, Polar, Strava, or Huawei Health) for automatic health data syncing. The app can also function without a wearable device — users may manually enter health metrics such as heart rate, blood pressure, weight, and body temperature.

Key Features:

• Activity & Fitness Tracking: View steps, distance, and calories burned synced from a connected wearable device or health platform, or enter data manually. Location permission is used to track outdoor activities.

• Sleep Tracking: View sleep duration and patterns synced from a connected wearable device, or log sleep data manually.

• Vitals Logging: Record and view health metrics such as heart rate, blood pressure, blood oxygen, and body temperature — synced from wearables or entered manually. This data is for personal reference only and does not constitute medical advice.

• Wellness Goals & Challenges: Set personal activity and sleep goals, participate in wellness challenges, and track your progress. Notification permission is used for goal reminders.

• Device Connectivity: Connect supported wearable devices and health platforms (Garmin, Fitbit, Apple Watch, Google Fit, Samsung Health, Oura Ring, WHOOP, Polar, Strava, Huawei Health) to automatically sync health data. A wearable device is optional — all metrics can be logged manually.

• Medical Aid Integration: Access your Cimas claims history, plan details, and benefits information.

• Secure & Private: All personal and health data is encrypted and stored securely. Biometric authentication is available for added security.

• Camera & Media Access: Camera and photo library permissions are used for uploading profile pictures and submitting documents for claims.

• Location Services: Used for finding nearby healthcare providers and tracking outdoor fitness activities.
