In Switzerland, you need to drive motor boats / pleasure craft with more than 8 horsepower motor boat license cat. A (Bodensee with more than 6 HP)
In Germany you need to drive pleasure boats with more than 15 horsepower on inland waters the boat license inland.
In Austria, you need to drive pleasure boats up to 10 m in length, the master's certificate for inland navigation A.
