Features & Capabilities

The BE-Login App offers robust two-factor authentication specifically designed for the e-services of the Canton of Bern. It strengthens user security by replacing older methods such as SMS codes or code cards with a modern, app-based authentication process.

Users can easily set up the app in their BE-Login personal profile under "My data > Security settings" or during initial registration. Activation is quick by scanning a QR code or entering an activation code. Once active, the app sends authentication requests directly to your smartphone or device, ensuring that you are uniquely and securely identified as a BE-Login user.

This extension is ideal for anyone requiring a dependable, convenient security upgrade for accessing e-services in the Canton Bern area.
